Project Description: This job included grading, drainage, hot mix paving and 2 structural rehabilitations over Highway 401 between London and Chatham. The Scane Road Underpass in Ridgetown consisted of a complete structure rehabilitation including galvanizing of steel beam girders, while the Downie Line Underpass structure had the deck replaced. Both roads were closed during construction, with frequent 401 lane closures throughout both projects.

The scope of this project is to remove the existing T-beam deck, the construction of a new solid slab deck, reinforcing steel bars, elastomeric bridge bearings, substructure repairs, steel traffic railing, bridge deck waterproofing, hot mix asphalt, steel beam guide rail, and other miscellaneous works.
